About the Opportunity This is an open position with FirstEnergy Service Co., a subsidiary of FirstEnergy Corp. [FEU] The selected candidate may be offered a position within the same job family, at a level that is lower than what was posted. This will be determined based upon the results of the interview process which considers the candidate's skills, work history, experience level, and other relevant qualifications. This position reports to the Manager, Compliance and Development. This position will be classified as Mobile with primary work location as home but may work at or visit a facility. This position provides business, analytical, advocacy, strategy and policy support for energy efficiency, demand response and related activities to comply with legislative and regulatory requirements and Company objectives across all FirstEnergy operating companies. This position is expected to regularly interact with internal and external parties such as the Company's energy efficiency, rates and legal teams, peer utilities, Commission staff and various industry stakeholders. Responsibilities include: * Developing regulatory filings and other supporting materials such as summaries, analysis, presentations and other communications * Reviewing, analyzing and summarizing Legislation, Regulation, and other energy efficiency related proposals, filings and reports * Drafting responses to data requests and other communications such as comments to advocate Company positions, feedback to internal groups supporting development of positions and strategies and presentations to stakeholders to provide updates or other relevant information. * Participating in working groups, and utility and stakeholder meetings, supporting Company and stakeholder engagement and promoting Company positions and strategies * Performing research, analysis and studies and participating in industry events to develop and provide industry intelligence and recommendations. Qualifications include: * Four-year degree in a related discipline, with a minimum 7 years professional (exempt) work experience required. * In lieu of a degree, 10 years of professional (exempt), direct, related experience will be required. * Relevant experience will include previous Energy Efficiency experience, regulatory experience, legislative experience and/or experience leading diverse working groups. * Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Ability to effectively summarize and communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders * Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills * Possess the ability to handle multiple assignments and deliver quality, accurate work within established deadlines. * Ability to lead, plan, and organize multiple initiatives with varying timelines. * Excellent time management skills. * Demonstrates a questioning attitude and desire to continue to learn and produce results. * Able to work both independently and in team environments.Apply here: https://www.aplitrak.com/?adid=YmJnZW5lcmljLjE5OTM5LjEwNTA4QGZpcnN0ZW5lcmd5Y29tcC5hcGxpdHJhay5jb20
