Collins Aerospace is currently in search of a GEOINT System Manager for our Birmingham, AL site. The GEOINT System Manager will support software, system administration, maintenance of all systems required for GEOINT (High and Med Alt) systems to operate/interface with multiple sensors, and PED systems. The GEOINT System Manager provides technical and engineering software and systems administration support to the PCPAD process which involves comprehensive analysis, diagnostics and fault isolation for the sensors associated ground components, and end-to-end network paths including mission preparation (i.e., system readiness, system/mission configurations relative to the sensor or comms link being utilized), direct mission execution support (to include real-time interfacing with the operators during anomalies, providing assistance to the users with mission execution), and post-mission support in further evaluating ground anomalies (to include maintenance actions, incident tickets, and potential DR submissions). Technicians also provide, sustainment support for system upgrades providing SME assistance prior to an upgrade/TCTO, TCNO, SME and physical support during an upgrade, and post upgrade efforts (TTPs, OIs, identifying means to streamline sustainment, OJT to AFP). Such support for upgrades is on a non-interference basis with mission support and as coordinated with local site military leadership. This position is located in Birmingham, AL and is eligible for relocation.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manages/supports GSYS systems and software processes.

• Maintains GSYS systems and software to operate and interface with multiple sensors, sites and systems.

• Provides GSYS technical and engineering SW support.

• Provides system administration for GSYS systems and software components.

• Performs system administration support to the Planning and Direction, Collection, Processing and Exploitation, Analysis and Production, and Dissemination (PCPAD) processes.

• Creates, updates, and responds to GSYS Incident tickets.

• Provides comprehensive analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for the GEOINT SW/systems (in addition, HW maintenance) associated with ground components.

• Supports DSMC, GMATS, GSMC, GSYS, GSMS, OAMC in comprehensive analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for the GEOINT system/sensors and associated End-to-End network paths.

• GEOINT SME that provides sustainment support during system upgrades.

• Supports data encryption changes and implementation.

• Supports post upgrade efforts IAW tech data, TTPs, and OIs. Provides OJT to AFP and identifies sustainment support improvements that reduce logistics footprint.

  Qualifications/Experience Needed:

• Security+ or higher DoD 8570 certification.

• Experience with military GEOINT domains across various platforms plus their corresponding ground station processing, exploitation, and dissemination (PED).

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI Security clearance is required prior to start date.

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
