Description

Robert Half has an immediate opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to support a long term contract role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, particularly with a focus on FDA guidelines. This role will involve ensuring that our products and operations comply with all relevant regulations and standards, and will require excellent attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape in the chemical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and ensure compliance with FDA regulations related to chemical products and processes.

• Develop and implement regulatory strategies to ensure timely and compliant product development, registration, and commercialization.

• Review and approve product labeling, marketing materials, and other documents to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Conduct regulatory assessments of new products and changes to existing products, including classification and risk assessment.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, including the FDA, and coordinate responses to inquiries and requests for information.

• Stay informed about changes to relevant regulations and communicate implications to internal stakeholders.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R& D, manufacturing, quality assurance, and legal, to ensure regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

• Support internal and external audits and inspections related to regulatory compliance.

  Requirements

• Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills

• Some knowledge of FDA regulations and other federal and state regulations and the ability to stay current on regulations.

• Strong organizational skills

• Some Chemistry background

• Maintains strong attention to detail while supporting dynamic workflows
