Adecco US, Inc. Quality Control - Testing in Danbury, Connecticut

Quality Control / Testing position for Danbury manufacturer Immediate need - $18 hr

Responsibilities for this Quality Control / Testing job include:

· Micro-hardness testing - Putting sample on testing machine and hitting start on the program. Checking results against specification to ensure within tolerance

· Material Certifications - Scan in completed material certs into the correct folder on the network. In addition, when given a material from production, checking on the network to ensure we have the cert completed for that specific batch of material

· Cutting, Mounting, Polishing - Placing material onto the cutter to cut off a sample piece, mounting sample piece and then polish the piece down to the sample size needed. Machines are mostly automated and would require little attention or skill to use.

· Micro-Etch (possible) - placing sample inside etch solution and then retrieving sample after etch and giving it to the Met lab technicians for their evaluation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in similar position is highly preferred or similar

  • At least 1-2 years manufacturing experience

  • Ability to follow written procedures

  • Computer skills

  • Ability to be trained on various testing equipment

Hours/Days - Monday - Friday from 7am - 3:30pm

Pay rate - $ 18 hr

Long Term assignment with possible extension

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
