Job Purpose: The ideal candidate will perform various activities required for the repair, maintenance, and rebuilding of marine boats and barges. Job Duties: They will be responsible for performing welding activities in all positions, climbing ladders, scaffolding, and lifting heavy objects. There may be additional duties required for this position beyond those that are listed. The candidate must possess the ability to work in awkward positions and function in a shipyard environment that includes extreme weather conditions.

High School Diploma or GED required. Skills/Qualifications We prefer candidates with at least 3 years of job training and experience. However, we will also consider candidates who have completed a career or technical program with certification in AWS, D1.1, or 6G.
