Job Description

Thermal Management Application Lead Engineer positions offered by Volvo Group North America, LLC (Greensboro, NC). Responsible for coordinating Thermal Management System development between various key stakeholders. Create, maintain, and lead optimized process to ensure that all inputs, outputs, and dependencies are being captured and communicated amongst all stakeholders at a global level to meet delivery requirements. Coordinate activities and requirements amongst Design and Application Center to develop a balanced and functional thermal management system. Create processes and tools in a sustainable coordination system. Support Roadmap Strategies and Project Portfolios. Support the alignments and communication between team and escalate for arbitration if needed.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in mechanical engineering or related field and 8 years of experience in the position offered or 8 years of experience setting up new and innovative processes or methodologies related to automotive or heavy-duty truck cooling systems. Also requires 8 years of experience leading the design of components and systems. Requires 5 years of experience: analyzing how cooling circuits function with diesel or electric vehicles; and managing projects related to automotive or transportation industry. Requires 3 years of experience: working with thermal management systems; and following agile methodology. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
