Aerotek Industrial Maintenance Technician in Kalamazoo, Michigan

3rd Shift Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician Needed

3rd Shift (5:15PM-5:30AM w/ rotating schedule every other weekend off)

Pay: $33-$36

Job Description:

The maintenance technician will be responsible for installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance on industrial packaging equipment and machinery. Equipment includes cutting machines, extruders, printing machine, hydraulics and pneumatics, motors, electrical, and all other equipment throughout the facility. Must be comfortable with electrical troubleshooting and working up to 480v. This is a true multi-craft industrial maintenance role with growth opportunity to earn technical certifications.

Must Haves:

  • 3-5 years of industrial electro-mechanical maintenance experience

  • Ability to perform electrical troubleshooting, repair and equipment installation up to 480v.

  • Ability to use electrical meters including digital multimeter and amp meters.

  • Ability to read electrical schematics

  • Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical machinery issues

  • High School Diploma
