Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Associate Director of Finance to join our team. The Associate Director will be responsible for the management, growth and day-to-day financial operations and analysis for our stakeholders. This individual will address all business affairs related to their stakeholders including recommending any changes necessary to achieve goals.

Responsibilities
  • Manage cost center P&Ls within the Data & Tech org to ensure accurate forecasting and monthly reporting.
  • Present financial data and analysis to financial and business leadership as required.
  • Accountable for proper forecasting, accounting, and recording of costs in accordance with agency policies and GAAP.
  • Review vendor contracts, providing financial guidance and recommendations on ways to optimize.
  • Manage Capex process and ensure appropriate treatment of Capitalized assets.
  • Manage, train and develop finance staff.
  • Liaise with international markets to ensure alignment on costs and implementation of global strategy.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the crafts and capabilities within the role's remit.
  • Ensure best practice and implementation of new and/or updated processes and controls to facilitate efficient running of the finance team.
  • Business partner with the executive leadership team within the D&T org as a trusted advisor.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders across Mediabrands and IPG as necessary to deliver within the role, including tax, legal, financial controllers, shared services, agency finance teams etc.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, V-Lookups, etc and ability to create useful analysis from scratch.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP is required.
  • IPG Mediabrands does not require candidates to have college degrees.

Desired Skills & Experience
  • Media or Advertising experience highly preferred.
  • At least 6 years of related experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and executive business partnering skills preferred.
  • SAP & Hyperion experience preferred.

The salary range for this position is posted below. Salary Range
$105,000-$125,000 USD
