Robert Half is seeking a motivated Junior Risk and Compliance Analyst to join the team of a large bank in the Pittsburgh area. The ideal candidate will have experience or familiarity with risk, compliance, controls, operational risk, risk assessments, and/or an audit background. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in the field of risk management and the work schedule is hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days work from home! What you will get to do each day:

• Assist in conducting risk assessments and identifying potential areas of risk within the organization

• Support compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and internal policies

• Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies and controls

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate risks and enhance overall risk posture

• Assist in the monitoring and reporting of key risk indicators

• Provide support for audits and regulatory examinations as needed

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks and risk analysis

• Leverage strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address risk-related issues

• Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the role of Business Analyst within the Banking industry.

• Possesses strong skills in Risk Analysis, demonstrating the ability to identify and evaluate potential risks.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.

• Has experience conducting audits, with a focus on identifying areas of improvement and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.

• Knowledge of banking regulations and legislation.

• Proven track record of successfully managing and executing projects.

• Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.

• Must have a customer-focused mindset and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
