Description:

We are seeking a Temporary Life Enrichment Assistant to join our independent senior community. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you will wear multiple hats and play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. This is a temporary position with the possibility of transitioning into another role within our community.

  • Plan and organize a variety of activities and programs to enrich the lives of our senior residents.

  • Coordinate and facilitate social gatherings, exercise classes, educational workshops, arts and crafts sessions, and outings.

  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing resident needs and preferences, assisting with transportation and answering questions.

  • Assist with administrative tasks, including maintain activity calendars, managing resident databases, and coordinating schedules.

  • Assist with facility tours

  • Assist in the dining room as needed.

  • Familiar and comfortable utilizing Microsoft Office products

  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and satisfaction of our residents.

  • Adhere to safety and wellness guidelines, considering any physical limitations or health concerns.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with seniors is preferred

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to multitask and be able to flexible as responsibilities for the day can vary depending on the needs of the community.

  • Flexibility to work on a temporary basis

Please note that is a temporary position with a duration of about 3 months. The working hours and schedule may vary based on the needs of the community.
