Responsible for the overall recordkeeping of a variety of Quality documents; PPAP submissions, customer and vendor quality interface while assisting as necessary with other Quality Department duties.

Essential Functions:

• Initiation & follow-up of internal and external Corrective Actions (CARs) and the CAR log.
• Initiation of Nonconforming Product Reports (NPRs) and Supplier Debit Forms to vendors/subcontractors.
• Responsible for submitting, follow-up and filing of all customer deviations (MR's, SNCR's, Supplier Concessions).
• Responsible for submission and follow-up of customer process change notifications. To include creation of Delta FAI or PPAP resulting from the change.
• Reviews jobs for inspection requirements and ensures the communication and coordination with the Inspection Department and Plant Floor.
• Prepare quality documentation and reports to include Bubbled Prints, In Process Inspection reports, First Article Inspection Reports and data packages, PPAP, ISIR GP-11 documentation, etc.
• Maintains QA Department documentation including master blueprints, final inspection, supplier certs and in-process reports as well as month end reports
• Scheduling of Source Inspection
• Participate in and support the KMD Quality System
• Responsible to participate in continuous improvement and associated training
• Responsible to adhere to the company Quality Policy, and to understand and follow all applicable Quality Work Instructions and Procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned
