A Lead System Credentialing Specialist at Munson Healthcare is responsible for processing all verifications related to an incoming provider’s file and MHC provider reappointment files, according to system reappointment schedule. Responsible to train, onboard and lead efforts of the system credentialing team, under the overall direction of the Director, Provider Services Verification, Data, and Relations.

What’s Required:
Experience/Education
Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or equivalent experience
5 years experience performing medical staff and/or credentialing functions.
Certification as a Certified Professional Medical Staff Manager (CPMSM) and/or Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) or eligibility and willingness to be certified within three (3) years of hire.
